Terra Alerts

We've made a change in our Terra Alert system and are working with Sandusky Co. going forward.  Anyone who has signed up for the system in the past (before October 20, 2019) will need to re-enter your information into the new system.  Please do so by going to to sign up and be notified of safety and weather alerts.

Book Voucher Change

The book voucher process changed in the Summer of 2019, effecting all future semesters. If you created a new voucher for the Summer 2019 semester, it will roll forward to future semesters. If you need to create a voucher for the Fall 2019 semester, proceed to the Transfer of Excess Financial Aid form under the ‘Student’ tab in your Banner Self-Service (click here for more detailed instructions). Any voucher prior to Summer 2019 semester has been zeroed out.

Beginning August 14th for the Fall 2019 semester, once you have created the book voucher, after 12 p.m. on the following business day you will see a line indicating ‘Bookstore Charge’ under Banner Self-Service > Student > Student Account > Account Detail for Term. Having a ‘Bookstore Charge’ means your voucher is in the bookstore and you can view how much is available in your account.

OhioLink Update

The library at Terra State Community College will no longer ask for your Social Security Number to request items from OhioLINK.  Instead, you will need to enter your T# (letter T followed by 8 digits).

Where do you find your T#?

  • Students: go to Banner Self Service

    • click on Student Tab
    • click the Student Records link
    • click on View Student Information and the T# is in the upper right corner.
  • Staff:  Look on paystub

Have you thought about adding one more class to your fall schedule to help save money, get better grades, and stay on track to graduate?

15 is the number of credits you need to take each semester to graduate on time!

Statistics show that students who earn 15 credits per semester are more likely to finish college on time and earn better grades.

Of course, you can take less and still receive scholarships and funding. But taking 15 credits a semester (or 30 credits a year) accelerates your graduation, saves money overall, and increases your chances of achieving your personal and professional goals. Contact your Advisor today to schedule an appointment to discuss your options at 419.559.2345. Learn more at
