The Student Government is sponsoring a trip to Cleveland to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The date is Saturday, April 13th. All students are welcome. Tickets are $15.00 and space is limited. The $15.00 includes transportation, admission into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and lunch. Ticket purchases and more information can be found at the Student Activities Center Desk in Building C. Ticket sales begin Wednesday, February 20th and end March 20th.
MASO is collecting donations for the annual Puppy Love Fundraiser February 11-15. Items collected will be given to the Sandusky County Dog Warden and the Humane Society. Items needed include cleaning supplies, canned food, treats, toys, collars, leashes, dryer sheets. Donations can be dropped off in the General Technologies Building and the Bordner Arts and Health Technologies Atriums.
Students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to send submissions of visual arts and creative writing for an exhibition at Terra State Community College to display and celebrate their artistic talents. Exhibits will be on display April 1st through the 7th. On the evening of Thursday, April 4th, we will have a literature reading and musical performance at 7:00 p.m. in Terra’s Recital Hall, room D-122.

Creative Writing: We welcome submissions of poetry, short stories and short essays under 1200 words. Participants may submit up to three poems, one short story or one essay for consideration. Content must be appropriate for a family event
Photography: Photos must be matted and not framed. Participants have two size options: 5x7 image on an 8x10 matte, or 8x10 image on a 11x14 matte. Photos must be original, and content must be appropriate for a family event. Photos can be black and white or color. Participants may submit up to six photos for consideration.
Fine Arts (other): We invite submissions of any visual art, including painting, pottery, sculpture, woodworking, or any other craft you would like to display.

1098T tax notices will be sent to students by midnight on Thursday, January 31, 2019, to the address on the address on the student's account file. Notices will also be available around midnight on Thursday, January 31 on Banner Self Service>Student Tab>Student Account>Tax Notification>2018.
Do you have your Title IV Consent completed so that it clears your account charges (ex: tuition/fees, Installment Payment Plan, housing charges, etc.) if you have Financial Aid? Find it on Banner Self Service > Student Tab > Student account > left side forms, Title IV Consent. If you did the Transfer of Excess Financial Aid for your book voucher, you already completed the Title IV Consent.

Terra State Community College will be hosting their annual Spring Job Fair on Tuesday, March 5 in the Student Activities Center on the Fremont campus. The fair is from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Over 75 employers will be in attendance. Job seekers do not need to register, just dress to impress and bring plenty of resumes.

The College is pleased to announce that the CAPP Degree Evaluation Feature is now available in Banner Self-Service. CAPP is the acronym for Curriculum, Advising, and Program Planning and it tracks your progress toward completion of your degree requirements. CAPP searches through in-progress courses, transfer credit, and courses taken at Terra State to find courses that match your degree requirements. Your evaluation can be generated and viewed at any time by using the attached instructions.
Terra State Community College will issue your financial aid disbursements or refunds through BankMobile Disbursements. Please check your Terra State account for an email from BankMobile Disbursements. Also, you should have received a Refund Selection kit in the mail from BankMobile Disbursements. Please log on to RefundSelection.com and select your refund option.

This is to remind you that if you can apply for federal student aid for the school year. Go to www.fafsa.gov, select "Start Here" to login. You will be given the option to complete a FAFSA renewal that has much of your application data from last year. If you have not filed taxes, just select will file and use estimated tax information. You can then use the IRS data retrieval tool after you have filed your taxes to avoid turning in your tax documents to the Financial Aid Office!

Book vouchers will be available to use in the CollegeStore beginning August 15, 2018 - November 1, 2018. Please be sure to submit your authorization early - these must be completed by 11:59 p.m. to be available the next business day at noon.
The College is in the process of transitioning to a new student information system. Students will be asked to use Banner Self-Service (new system) to register for summer and fall courses.
