A Message from the Dean of Student and Enrollment Services

The College has fully transitioned to a new student information system for the 2016-2017 academic year. The new system has caused us to change many of our procedures and processes. Click here to read/download an explanation of the changes that will affect students. Please take some time to go through them. Understanding these changes will help you better navigate your Terra State experience. Terra State's Scheduled System Maintenance

Every Friday Morning between 6-8 am Terra State will perform computer system maintenance that may affect Terra State’s computer systems. This may result in intermittent outages. For any question or concern, please contact the Helpdesk.

Course Schedules and Registration

Spring and summer course schedules are now available for viewing! Click here to select the term you would like to view. Registration will open on October 26, 2016. 

Refund of Excess Financial Aid

Beginning on September 28, 2016 financial aid will be applied to your student account. Your excess financial aid will be refunded to your preference chosen through Bank Mobile beginning Wednesday, October 5, 2016. To view these transactions log into Banner Self-Service, click on Student Account tab, and click on the Account Detail for Term link.

Student Government president and secretary positions available

Student Government is actively seeking a president and secretary for the 2016-2017 academic year. Check your Terra State email for more information or contact Liz Sabel, Associate Dean of Students at 419.559.2360 or before Monday, September 19.

Terra State Student IDs

Beginning immediately the Admissions Office (Roy Klay Hall room 100) will be issuing all Terra State student IDs. 

Accessing your Financial Aid information using Banner Self-Service

From accepting your award to completing your Title IV consent, this short video walks you through some different areas of Banner Self-Service.

How to submit authorization to transfer excess financial aid to you Terra State ID card for book vouchers

Book vouchers will not be available to use in the CollegeStore until Wednesday, August 17, 2016. Please be sure to submit your authorization early - these must be completed by 11:59 p.m. to be available the next business day at noon.

Banner Self-Service Registration 

The College is in the process of transitioning to a new student information system. Students will be asked to use Banner Self-Service (new system) to register for summer and fall courses. Students are encouraged to meet with an academic and career advisor prior to registering for summer or fall courses. To schedule an advising appointment please call 419-559-2349. 2016-2017 Scholarships Are Available

Complete the 2016-2017 scholarship application today! Each year, the Terra College Foundation awards more than $120,000 in scholarships to students. Scholarships are available for students from all walks of life. No matter your age, background, major or interests, we encourage you to apply.

Fall 2016 payment plan

If Financial Aid, other sponsorship or account paid in full is not on the student account. A payment plan must be completed with first payment and submitted to the Cashier's Office on or before August 17, 2016 for the fall 2016 payment plan.

New Financial Aid disbursement processor

Terra State Community College will issue your financial aid disbursements or refunds through BankMobile. Please check your Terra State account for an email from BankMobile. Also, you should have received a My One card through the mail from BankMobile. Please log on to Bank Mobile Vibe Card and select your refund option:

  • Deposit to a BankMobile checking account
  • Deposit to another account
  • Paper check

FAFSA available

This is to remind you that if you can apply for federal student aid for the school year. Go to, select "Start Here" to log in. You will be given the option to complete a FAFSA renewal that has much of your application data from last year. If you have not filed taxes, just select will file and use estimated tax information. You can then use the IRS data retrieval tool after you have filed your taxes to avoid turning in your tax documents to the Financial Aid Office!

Need a Job or Internship?

Be sure to register and check the online Career Services Job Board. There are jobs being posted regularly. Work on your resume and cover letter with a Career Services professional. For more information, contact Career Services in Roy Klay Hall, room A100 or email at

eTutoring is a new, free, online tutoring service offered to Terra State Community College students. Just go to, click "login now", choose "Ohio etutoring collaborative" and select "Terra State Community College". You can receive help with the subjects of: Accounting, biology, chemistry, math, statistics, calculus, and writing!

myTerra has a new look and new features

If you haven't noticed already, the myTerra site has a new look and new features for the 2016-2017 academic year. Take a moment and familiarize yourself with the site by watching the short overview video below.
