Campus Safety wants you to be informed about the opening of the roundabout for Terra State Community College.


I want to take a moment to share some useful information with you how to navigate through our new Four-Way Stop at the intersection of the original main drive and our new Terra Boulevard: If traveling inbound or outbound on the original main drive, you are required to come to a complete stop at the intersection and yield all oncoming traffic from Terra Boulevard. All oncoming Terra Boulevard traffic has the right-way at this intersection. Please obey the posted stop signs and note the pavement marking for appropriate traffic direction.

I am also providing you with an ODOT web link on how to navigate a roundabout. Please note this link depicts a Four-Legged roundabout whereas the new St. Rt. 53 roundabout is only a Three-Leg but the same concept applies.

From IT

With the move to Office 365, all Terra students now have access to free cloud storage for your digital content via Microsoft’s One Drive. This storage will provide you with more space than you currently have on your Terra H Drive or Thunder Cloud Drive. For this reason Terra will no longer be providing storage space on our local network beginning in 2016. As of January 1st, 2016, you will no longer have access to your Terra H Drive or Thunder Cloud Drive. Please move your files from your H Drive to your One Drive in the cloud before the end of 2015 so that you do not lose access to them.

If you are moving your files while off campus, please move your files from the Thunder Cloud drive to your local computer and follow the same instructions with the correct path pointing to your documents. In the future when you want to save to the One Drive you can follow the same steps to move a saved local file to the One Drive. If you are using Microsoft products after Office 2010 there is an option to save directly to the One Drive. If you are using the 365 web based applications, the software automatically creates a saved document in your One Drive.

Remember, after December 31st, 2015, you will no longer have access to the H drive while on campus or the Thunder Cloud Drive through Single Sign On.

Terra State's Scheduled System Maintenance

Every Friday Morning between 6-8 am Terra State will perform computer system maintenance that may affect Terra State’s computer systems. This may result in intermittent outages. For any question or concern, please contact the Helpdesk.

Spring 2016 Payment Plan

If Financial Aid or other Sponsorship is not on the student account. A Payment Plan must be completed with first payment and submitted to the Cashier's Office on or before January 4, 2016 for the Spring 2016 Payment

Need Help re-setting your password without calling the Help Desk?

Click Here for instructions on how to reset your forgotten or expired password without having to call or visit the Help Desk.

To update your personal email log into Single Sign-On and click the link for your Student Portal. In the portal click the Edit Address button on the left side, then click the Edit button on one of the address records. Enter your personal email in the Alternate Email box. You may enter a different email in each of the Home and Local addresses. When you reset your password the reset link will be sent to the email address that you specify after clicking the “Forgot Password” button.

New Financial Aid Disbursement Processor

Terra State Community College will issue your financial aid disbursements or refunds through Higher One. Please check your Terra account for an email from Higher One. Also, you should have received a My One card through the mail from Higher One. Please log on to and select your refund option:

  • Deposit to a Higher One checking account
  • Deposit to another account
  • Paper check

FAFSA Available

This is to remind you that if you can apply for federal student aid for the school year. Go to, select "Start Here" to log in. You will be given the option to complete a FAFSA Renewal that has much of your application data from last year. If you have not filed taxes, just select will file and use estimated tax information. You can then use the IRS data retrieval tool after you have filed your taxes to avoid turning in your tax documents to the Financial Aid Office!

Need a Job or Internship?

Be sure to register and check the online Thunder Job Board. There are jobs being posted regularly. Work on your resume and cover letter with a Career Services professional. For more information, contact Career Services in B104 or email at is a new, free, online tutoring service offered to Terra Community College Students. Just go to, click "login now", choose "Ohio etutoring collaborative" and select "Terra Community College". You can receive help with the subjects of: Accounting, biology, chemistry, math, statistics, calculus, and writing!
